Tortured and killed: Hamza al-Khateeb, age 13 - Features - Al Jazeera English

OUTRAGING!!!
So Heart Breaking. May Allah Grant him the Best in the Hereafter. May Allah also torture, torment, and bring Eternal Justice to those that would do this to any child or person for that matter. May they suffer in this life and the next - As Allah Wills.
May Allah ease his family's pain and torment also. Absolutely nothing to say - HOW DO PEOPLE DO THIS TO ONE ANOTHER AND THEN DO THIS TO THE MOST INNOCENT AMONG US!!!

Beware the video and pictures of his body are graphic... I couldn't see all of it :'(

Letter to my Representatives in Congress.

Below I am listing many of the things that the Israeli Government are doing with the world looking the other way and we in the United States are actually paying for!!!  I am against supporting the taking of others’ land and this is not what I learned that MY AMERICA stands for – yet you stand and clap when Netanyahu says ALL of Jerusalem!!! You stand and clap when he says that the West Bank does not belong to the people that have lived there for thousands of years, you stand when he says that the ’67 borders are indefensible (they seemed to defend them very well in 1967!!), and you stand when he says that his country is a Democracy but that they will absolutely not let the native people return to their lands!!!  You stood while he spit on our core beliefs about what a Democracy is and so many of the Values that our Brave men and women die for. The Arab-Israelis do not have the same rights as a Jewish-Israeli!!! Any Jew anywhere in the world can become an Israeli citizen, move to Israel, and buy land with help from the government; but the Arab-Israelis can only buy land in certain areas of Israel and a Palestinian born on the land cannot become an Israeli or purchase any land.
Shame on America the Day that a racist, lying, hater like Netanyahu arrogantly walked in and was treated with respect that he has not earned with his thoughts, actions, or ideas.
WATCH what Netanyahu says from his own mouth when he tells someone to turn off the camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl60X_jOsR0&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_697671
The film was shot, apparently without Netanyahu's knowledge, nine years ago. He brags about how the US is “easy to move.” He also boasts that he deceived the US president at the time, Bill Clinton, into believing he was helping implement the Oslo accords, the US-sponsored peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, by making minor withdrawals from the West Bank while actually entrenching the occupation. He brags that he thereby destroyed the Oslo process. Netanyahu does not want peace – He wants more land!!!

ISRAEL’S DEMOCRACY:  ???
1.    Illegal acquisition of land by force.
2.    Forbidding civilians the right to return to their homes following the end of armed conflict.
3.    Illegal population transfer.
4.    Destruction of holy places, and interfering with ministers of religion performing their religious duties.
5.    Illegal practice of collective punishment.
6.    Practice of racism.
7.    Practice of apartheid:    The State of Israel has a formal system of legalized discrimination against Palestinian Arabs which technically fits the official UN definition of Apartheid.
8.    Illegal military occupation.
9.    Illegal modification of local law.
10.    Illegal de Facto Annexation:  Israel creates de facto annexation of much of Palestinian territories occupied during 1967 war (as it radically alters local laws in order to apply Israeli law to the Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian lands, and in violation of Palestinian rights of self-determination largely to the benefit of the Israeli economy)
11.    Violations of right to self-determination.
12.    Violations of UN Resolutions: Israel has violated 28 resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (which are legally binding on member-nations), and almost 100 resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly (which are not binding, but represent the will and understanding of the international community).
13.    Practice of ethnic cleansing.

Netanyahu's "speech of his life"

The whole of congress, made me really upset and I am still having a hard time coming to terms with it.

I will probably update this post with statements from articles with links to show all of the problems with Netanyahu's "speech, spill, propaganda, bull!"

"Netanyahu's "speech of his life" was the speech of the death of peace. It was a 1970s show. Maybe back then people still bought the piles of pretty, wise words shoveled by a peace-loving Israeli prime minister. How can an Israeli prime minister dare to say his country "fully supports the desire of Arab peoples in our region to live freely" without spitting out the entire bitter truth - as long as they aren't Palestinian."

TODAY'S HERO

TODAY'S HERO:  Rae Abileah!!!  A 28-year-old Jewish American woman who is a CODEPINK peace activist. She bravely spoke out for the human rights of Palestinians in a sea of AIPAC members. As Netanyahu defended her democratic right to speak out and protest AIPAC members were assaulting her.

Will they be arrested also?

“I am in great pain, but this is nothing compared to the pain and suffering that Palestinians go through on a regular basis,” said Abileah from her hospital bed. “I have been to Gaza and the West Bank, I have seen Palestinians homes bombed and bulldozed, I have talked to mothers whose children have been killed during the invasion of Gaza, I have seen the Jewish-only roads leading to ever-expanding settlements in the West Bank. This kind of colonial occupation cannot continue. As a Jew and a U.S. citizen, I feel obligated to rise up and speak out against stop these crimes being committed in my name and with my tax dollars.”    Her Quilt: OCCUPYING LAND IS INDEFENSIBLE

Who were the People in Palestine before the Zionists?

What claim does Israel have on Palestine?

Except for “it is the Promised Land given to us by God,” one of the most used reasons about why the land belongs to Israel is that: “The land was empty, neglected, abandoned, desolate, fallen into ruins.” (1)  This was nothing but propaganda to justify and encourage European Jews to resettle in Palestine.

"Until World War I, Israel Zangwill's slogan 'A land without a people for a people without a land' typified Zionist propaganda on Palestine. The influential Zionist publicist Moshe Smilansky recalled in 1914 that, 'From the first moment of the Zionist idea, Zionist propaganda described the land to which we were headed as desolate and forsaken, impatiently waiting for its redeemers'; a ' feeling of certainty' was created 'that Palestine was a virgin country'." (p. 95) (2)

Argument given by the Zionists:   Palestine was desolate, uninhabited, and uncultivated till the European Jews settled and developed the land.
Documented Facts:
1.      Watch this footage of Palestine before 1948:

2.   Real History By Israeli Historians Living Outside Of The Zionist Bubble

*******
“Zionism is based on the arrogant notion that people whose ancestors had not lived in the Middle East for centuries (if ever) somehow have a greater right to Palestine than the native people whose forefathers had been living there without interruption for centuries. On the face of it, this view is morally bankrupt.” (3)

What claim does Israel have on Palestine except that they stole the land by immigrating illegally, committing acts of terrorism, and ethnic cleansing?
None that I have found.

Freedom Rider - James Zwerg

How many people do you know that would volunteer to be the first to step off of a bus where an angry mob of 3,000 people stood with bats in hand?  This is courage, not stupidity: The brave man was James Zwerg, a Freedom Fighter, who took a bus from Nashville, TN down to Montgomery, AL (the deep south) along with 18 other Black and White young men in order to make a strong statement for Desegregation (not separating) on buses. During this time Black people had to give up the front seats to White people? Sounds ridiculous today.

"I looked at it, and what it brings back to me more than anything else is that I got so much notoriety because I was white," he says. "I looked at that picture and I thought of all the people that never get their names in a book, never get interviewed but literally had given their lives. Who the hell am I to have my picture up there?"
He was suddenly flooded with guilt. He started bawling during the ceremony as startled people looked on. Then another Freedom Rider veteran, a strapping black man named Jim Davis, walked over to Zwerg.
Zwerg's voice trembles with emotion as he recalls what Davis said. "He said, 'Jim, you don't realize that it was your words from that hospital bed that were the call to arms for the rest of us.' "
And then, as Davis wrapped his big arms around Zwerg in front of the startled crowd, the two men cried together.
 Read his story at:

As a Muslim in America at this time when there is all the controversy about building Masjids and the unfounded fears of Sharia Law we feel the pressure of those that don't like us because of the religion we follow, because of the clothes that we wear, and because of the way we pray. As bad as we feel about how wrong this is, we still are not in a hardship as the Blacks and their supporters were before, during, and after the Civil Rights Movement. Muslims here in America are not being called upon to face down this type of unfounded hatred and probably because of these kinds of Brave Men and Women in our past we will probably not have to in this country. Americans are truly blessed.
