Since this is where GOD places me every morning: That makes this our Universe, our Galaxy, our Solar System, our Planet, and our only Reality, and I hope to be a part (even a small part) of helping to change the Reality we live in. When we stick together like the atoms that make water which then becomes a tremendous force and if we stay persistant: we can cut through bigotry, oppression, and ignorance.  
String theory is a plausible theory that if true requires a multi-verse (multiple universes) and the theory also incorporates the need for the strings to be in motion (vibrating).   So we must stay in constant motion and join together to make Our reality possible. #NotInMyReality

Bravo!!!  Public Servants FEEL this day in and day out.

It can be frustrating for Public Servants to see people so concerned for a moment because when those people go home - the servants will continue to work, struggle, and sacrifice on a daily basis. The servants will be the ones that will continue to have to try to deal with the tragedies, sleep with the nightmares, and hide the horrors they see from their families every single day.  To me this is just like seeing the people standing outside of an Abortion clinic "Praying for the fetuses."  Now, GOD knows their intent - but to spend hours intimidating women when many of them will not lift a finger to help the living children in their community that suffer without food, clothing, or housing. Those same people will instead sit in judgement of everyone around them.

For people that care, worry, and give their lives to make the community better; dealing with other’s judgements about things they do not have a clue about can be infuriating and nauseating. This man knows the cries of sorrow he will have to block; the sights, sounds, and smells of death that will slam his senses; and the fear, confusion, and anger of friends and neighbors that will permeate the air. We can talk about the cause but don’t think for a moment that we can know what these men and women deal with daily.

One guy said that he does not think that Civilians being "Aware" is the right way to approach the divide between the civilians and veterans - the only way is through Relationships!

I agree, without relationships there can be no real awareness - you can try but you have no investment until there is a relationship - no real ability to have empathy/understanding for one another without RELATIONSHIPS. This applies to civilians and veterans and to so many other divides that are splitting the world into so many fragments.

The end of the show was the best part - 

showing how we can make a 

difference to others by serving.  

United we Stand.

VERY INFORMATIVE!!!  Right now I can only testify that the first 20 minutes of this film shows no physically gruesome photos or film but I seriously can't watch any more at this time because I am feeling nauseous and my eyes are filled with tears.  HOW CAN A SO-CALLED DEMOCRACY (THE USA) PAY FOR THIS? 

I have watched many films but this one is different because it is so many Israelis talking or maybe it is because it is not dead faces but faces with the torture they experienced right behind their eyes - you can see it in these young men - and just a sliver of a glance at the horrific, life altering torture and terror they experienced as a child or maybe it is just overload on the terrible things that are going on in so many places in the world that we hear about, just maybe. But whatever it is - I am weak and must turn in off - what A PARADISE I LIVE IN THAT I CAN TOUCH A BUTTON AND TURN IT OFF. 

ALLAH FORGIVE ME.

"Breaking the Silence" an ex-Israeli soldiers' organization is in the film, as well. The founder, Yehuda Shaul,

tells how he doesn't remember children in the West Bank because it was them (no matter what age) and us. I actually thought he was going to say that in the past they didn't do that to kids - I was wrong.

"The act authorizes the military in Title X, Subtitle D, entitled “Counter-Terrorism,” for the first time in more than 200 years, to carry out domestic policing. With this bill, which will take effect March 3, the military can indefinitely detain without trial any U.S. citizen deemed to be a terrorist or an accessory to terrorism. And suspects can be shipped by the military to our offshore penal colony in Guantanamo Bay and kept there until “the end of hostilities.” It is a catastrophic blow to civil liberties.
I suspect the real purpose of this bill is to thwart internal, domestic movements that threaten the corporate state."

Very interesting short story that apparently isn't even a story.

A chemical bomb in a Gatorade bottle was thrown into the Occupy Maine's kitchen tent. Thank God no one was hurt although it had a great potential to hurt someone really badly. The article points out that had this been a tea party activity that there would have been a media frenzy.  Apparently if the 1% is being attacked, there is a news story and of course if the alleged perpetrator was a Muslim (we know how big a story that would be.)  But since it is just the 99% being attacked and probably by a 1%er, we don't need to know that there was a terrorist attack.

United States is more economically unequal a society than either Tunisia or Egypt

Here [in the USA] the critical issue is economic inequity. According to the C.I.A.’s own ranking of countries by income inequality, the United States is more unequal a society than either Tunisia or Egypt. 

During the Bush administration, the wealthiest were just getting wealthier and the middle class was doing okay and it seems to me were thinking that they would follow the wealthy and that the economy could not go down. I would hear people talking about a housing bubble - was it? could it all crash?

How could it not? Anyway now people are gathering and demanding changes. I agree but we must remember that whether or not we at this moment are doing well or not - inequality is inequality!!!  Setting up the government to help only some is not right whether we think we can be on the beneficial side or not.

Republican: 'smaller government and more individual control' so while the rest of us are struggling to maintain our basic needs the elite can control the "small" government and structure it to benefit the wealthy that are the only ones with enough money and time to participate.

Three factoids underscore that inequality:

• The 400 wealthiest Americans have a greater combined net worth than the bottom 150 million Americans.

• The top 1 percent of Americans possess more wealth than the entire bottom 90 percent.

• In the Bush expansion from 2002 to 2007, 65 percent of economic gains went to the richest 1 percent.

Israel a Democracy? Democracy means Equality for ALL, right?

"This is the village of Al Arakib, a Bedouin village in the north Negev. These Israeli soldiers have just helped to demolish her home as they have done FIVE times since July!

Everyone in this photo is Israeli - EVERYONE!  

But why would they do that,  she is an Israeli citizen, too.

Important points from Israel 'declares war on its people' - Al Jazeera English by Mya Guarnieri:

The government claims that Al Arakib was abandoned and, as such, belongs to the state. According to the state, these people must be removed to make way for a forest to be planted by the Jewish National Fund.

Villagers, some of whom hold Ottoman-era deeds to the property, say that the Israeli army asked them to leave temporarily in 1951. Believing they would be able to move back, they left. It was then, they say, that the state declared Al Arakib abandoned and expropriated it.

But the Bedouin maintained a connection to the earth. They continued to cultivate the village land, harvesting olives, pomegranates, and other produce. And more than a decade ago, they rooted themselves in Al Arakib once again, building houses and families.

Just days before the village was destroyed for the first time, Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, declared that "an international campaign is being waged against the definition of Israel as a Jewish state .... in the Negev, for example, if it becomes a region without a Jewish majority". Netanyahu added that such a change would be "a real threat" to the Jewish state.

Israeli activists like Amit Ramon agree.  Ramon says he feels a responsibility to stand against any injustice the government commits in his name. He has been with the village since the beginning and witnessed the first demolition, when some 1,500 police came to evacuate the 300 residents.  "They came with power like they thought the citizens would open war against them," Ramon says.  The police forcibly removed the villagers, who resisted non-violently. And then they destroyed Al Arakib.  "They ruined all the houses, they tore out the trees, they knocked over all the water tanks. There were hen cages. They ruined everything."   Ramon pauses and looks at the ground. He seems to be struggling to come to terms with the memory. "It was the end of July. It's hot here, people need to drink water. They need to drink water," he says, "and [the police] spilled all the water. They broke [the tanks] so it's impossible to use them."

After their church was burned down, Coptic Christians took to the streets. The military was very brutal - shooting w/ live ammunition, tanks running over demonstrators, and horrible beatings. The Egyptian TV showed that the Christians were the aggressors. I wonder how many lives and households this dozer has tried to destroy? It was a Caterpillar Bulldozer like this that ran over Peace Activist - Rachel Corrie. (Read about her short life and what she did on the internet and see below in the video what she believed in at a very young age - She is one of my role models!!!)

Rachel Corrie was a wonderful person and not because of the way she died under a Caterpillar but how she lived her life and the values she held from the time she was a very young girl. May God grant her a special place in Paradise and may she inspire all of us to do more good in this world. Ameen.
