About Me: Lana Lee Lockhart-Ezzeir

My mother is from Tokyo,Japan and my father is from Baton Rouge,Louisiana. I was raised as a Methodist in a small town across the river from Baton Rouge called Brusly. I graduated from LSU with a BS in Psychology, a Minor in Sociology, and a Masters in Social Work. After converting to Islam in 1988, I met and married a wonderful Man, Fadi. We have four wonderful, challenging boys and now live in Nashville, TN. I have been a Stay-At-Home mom since my children were born. I have stayed active in the community by volunteering to teach in various locations, to be an activity coordinator in a youth center, and a Leader of Girl Scout Troops for 8 years. Now that my children are older, I am presently looking into a possible Teaching Career. I enjoy writing and finding out new information and hope to share some of the things that I have learned about American Politics as well as Middle Eastern Politics especially Palestine.
