Maan News Agency: Israeli undercover agents boast of killing Palestinians on TV

"... Agent "D" said officers would ... "seize the target (a Palestinian) and wait until the commander arrives to confirm his identity. Then we shoot him."

This confirms previous accounts from Palestinians who have said they witnessed Israeli agents shooting Palestinians at point-blank range."

Tony Blair reads Koran every day - Telegraph

"Mr. Blair said it was 'crucial' to be 'faith-literate' in the 21st Century. 'I read the Bible every day. I read the Qur'an every day,' he told The Observer. 'Partly to understand some of the things happening in the world, but mainly just because it is immensely instructive.'  Mr. Blair has set up the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, to promote respect and understanding between the major religions." Profile In Failure: A Look Back At Ten Years Of The Bush Tax Cuts | ThinkProgress

Ten years ago what did President Bush say would "generate new wealth," and would "open new opportunities." Eight years ago he also said this same policy would "bring real and immediate benefits to middle-income Americans" and it would also "speed up economic recovery and the pace of job creation.” So since 2001 and 2003 is this what we have been experiencing? Who has new wealth? How many of us have new opportunities? Are you as a middle-income Am. gotten real and immediate benefits? And don't we all agree that we have had an economic recovery and an increase in job creation? Was Bush right? Who are the people that have benefited in the last ten years? Who are the people that have benefited in the last eight years?

It wasn't me and it wasn't my middle income. I have no new wealth and worry about my sons' opportunities in the future.

The above quotes are what Bush said on April 16, 2001 and also two years later about the benefits of the tax reductions for the rich. The only people benefiting from the tax cuts are the rich! Nothing that Bush said would happen has happened. Reaganomics didn't work in the 80's and isn't working now. The time that we prospered were during Clinton's tax increases!!! Read more about it at: ThinkProgress Ten Years Of The Bush Tax Cuts By Pat Garofalo on Jun 6, 2011

"It is odd, given the fantastically poor record of the Bush tax cuts on all of these measures, that conservatives are making exactly the same case for why they should be extended. Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), for example, came out strongly against allowing the cuts for the wealthy to expire, saying, “If we want to spur economic growth and reduce the deficit, then let's stop these massive job-killing tax hikes.” Why does he think that if the tax cuts didn’t work the first time, that this time will be any different?"

"Lower taxes for the rich don’t help the economy, they cost too much, the money could be put to much better use, and nearly everyone in the country would be completely unaffected if we simply let the rates go back to where they were under President Clinton."

GREAT POINT by Michael Linden & Michael Ettlinger in their conclusion:  "If conservatives really want tax relief, let them join with progressives to pass permanent tax cuts for 98 percent of Americans. If they want to continue protecting tax breaks for the rich in spite of all the evidence against them, they are free to do so, but they shouldn’t hold everyone else’s tax returns hostage in the meantime."

Twins! Distant Galaxy Looks Like Our Own Milky Way| Spiral Galaxies Photos | Stars & Galaxies | Space.com

Not our neck of the woods but another Galaxy that looks pretty much like the MILKY WAY is our neighbor. This is another Spiral Galaxy  that just happens to be oriented in a way that this Magnificant Picture can be taken.  Our Solar System (Sun, Earth, and other planets) although not in the outer most rings, is located kinda between the middle area and the outer most rings. If you drew a circle in the spiral about half way from the center and the outer rings then another circle between the circle just drawn and the outer most rings that would be the location that we are in our own Spiral Galaxy, The Milky Way.

Unarmed, Peaceful Demonstrations have been going on in Palestine for Years!!!

Joseph Dana is an Israeli-American writer and freelance journalist based in Tel Aviv and Ramallah. He recently read an Opinion by Thomas Friedman. It was titled: “Lesson from Tahrir Sqaure." The section that Joseph wanted to respond to was:

If Palestinians peacefully march to Jerusalem by the thousands every Friday with a clear peace message, it would become a global news event. Every network in the world would be there. Trust me, it would stimulate a real peace debate within Israel — especially if Palestinians invited youth delegations from around the Arab world to join the marches, carrying the Saudi peace initiative in Hebrew and Arabic. Israeli Jews and Arabs should be invited to march as well. Together, the marchers could draw up their own peace maps and upload them onto YouTube as a way of telling their leaders what Egyptian youth said to President Hosni Mubarak: “We’re not going to let you waste another day of our lives with your tired mantras and maneuvering.”
He replies, although the NYTimes refused to print it, with first-hand eye witness information. There have been many peaceful demonstrations but there was no stimulation to "a real peace debate in Israel as well as a “global news event.” instead "Israel invariably responds to them with harsh military repression."  He closes the letter by informing Mr. Friedman and other readers that "The unarmed Palestinian protest movement has been a reality in the West Bank for years. Yet Israeli society has failed to generate any 'real peace debate,' nor has a 'global news event' occurred. Instead, Israel continues to annex more Palestinian land, jail peaceful demonstrators, and deepen its occupation."  Full Article "Taking on Thomas Friedman over unarmed resistance"

Some Great information from the Comments of Thomas Friedman's article.
  1. Ike Solem, CA  Wrote: "Israel also takes an enormous amount of the water, diverting much of it to the 37 Israeli settlements in the area. In fact, the water allotted to 9,400 settlers equals one third of the water for all 2.5 million Palestinians on the entire West Bank."  Article   AND he makes a great point that I have never heard of: "... isn't there something a little odd about Israel and Saudi Arabia, historically the most important U.S. allies in the Middle East, being so opposed to legal separation of Church and State, a cornerstone of U.S. democracy?"
